Completedworks offer the complete package
Although there is a cerebral quality to Anna Jewsbury and her Completedworks’ jewellery, she is not one for overthinking things. For example, on the brand’s evolution into bags (finally!) she says simply: “I’d spent so long being influenced by folds in fabric and crumpling of materials that I kept thinking, oh, this would look nice as a handbag.”
It does, and the organic oddness of the sculptural necklaces, earrings and homewares translates seamlessly into a collection with details like a wonky resin handle or mismatched pearl knots. “There’s an element of unfussiness to what we make but with subversive elements,” says Jewsbury. “We want to make something beautiful and enduring.”

The Cartier watch on everybody's lips
Depending on your levels of fluency in both French and fashion, baignoire either means bathtub or one seriously covetable accessory. The Cartier Baignoire watch — curved, elegant, defiantly unflashy — is currently having un moment. With the first iteration appearing in 1912, getting its name in 1973 and seen on the chicest of wrists in the intervening decades, the timepiece exemplifies Cartier’s dual heritage as a jeweller and watchmaker. Fast-forward to now and (as well as storming vintage demand) it’s making a splash as part of an expanded collection, with tweaked proportions and a ridiculously sleek bangle version.
