Youngsters of all ages enjoyed taking part in the Dalbeattie Hardrock Challenge’s junior competition on Saturday.
The kids challenged themselves over a variety of running and cycling distances in Dalbeattie Forest.
Heather Mitchell won the girls eight to nine-years event with Cobey Stewart taking the boys’ title. Cobey’s brother Josh won the boys 10-11 event, Izzy Barbour landing the girls honours.
Top team for the eight to 11 year olds was Eamon McFarlane and Theo Tuchewicz.
Toby Inglehart enjoyed success in the 12-13 boys competition, Bethany Crudington landing the girls title. In the 14-15 category, Fergus McEwan was the boys winner with Lucy Heron the girls champion.
And Ben Hodson and Noah Crudington won the 12-15 teams award.
