An 11-year-old was rushed to hospital after being struck by a car in Paisley on Saturday night.
Emergency services raced to Mannering Road in the town on Saturday following reports of a road traffic incident involving a child.
It’s understood the youngster ran out in front of the car around 6.30pm.

Police and an ambulance attended and discovered the child had been hit by the vehicle, resulting in serious but not life-threatening injuries.
It’s understood the youngster was rushed to hospital where he currently remains and is receiving treatment for his injuries.
Police have also confirmed that no criminality was established following enquiries into the incident.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “We were called to Mannering Road in Paisley alongside other emergency services on April 23 following reports that a child had been struck by a vehicle.
“Officers attended and carried out enquiries and determined the collision was an accident and there was no criminality involved.
“The 11-year-old was taken to hospital for treatment to non-life threatening injuries.”
