A young woman has died in hospital after a tragic incident at a camogie match over the Easter weekend.
The woman, aged in her early 20s, had been playing a club game in Ardrahan, Co Galway on Monday when the accident happened.
Gardai and emergency services were called to the scene and she was rushed to University Hospital Galway.

She later died in hospital as a result of her injuries on Tuesday.
The woman is believed to be a well-known member of the Galway GAA community and was a prominent member of her local club.
She is also understood to have starred for the Galway county camogie team at underage level.
A garda spokesperson confirmed that they were called to the incident on Monday.
They said in a statement: "Gardaí were called to an incident in Ardrahan on Monday, 18th April 2022. A woman was later taken to University Hospital Galway."
