A mum was left speechless after her son was approached by "lovely" teenagers in a Merseyside park.
Georgina Woods was out with her five-year-old son Carson near Vale Park in New Brighton, when she decided to get some food before playing with her football mad little boy. Opting to have a kick around on his own, Carson was approached by a group of teenagers who kindly let him play with them.
Mum Georgina, 27, believes the actions show not all teenagers are bad or "intimidating". She told the ECHO: "Carson, my little boy, is obsessed with football and said no to chips and just wanted to play football. I was starving so said no to kicking about with him at first until I’d eaten something so I sat watching him in the sand pitch.

"That’s when the younger boy got up to come play with him. At one point he even got in his knees in goal to play. Then realised Carson was a little stronger than he’d first imagined, asking him what football team he played for and supported. I felt totally at ease and was lovely to watch him play football with someone else."
As a young mum, Georgina admitted she can find a group of teenagers intimidating if she was on her own, but her day was made by these "lovely" and "polite" lads. She added: "Was so lovely to be made to feel at ease as a young mum on her own, a gang of kids could be intimidating if they where not so polite and lovely to my little man.
"They are not all bad and I’d like to think the good outweigh the bad. They all waved him goodbye and shouted over when we left. My little man was made up and enjoyed his kick about."
