A young man has suffered serious injuries following a crash on a busy Glasgow road.
The 23-year-old was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment after being hurt on Haywood Street.
Emergency services were called to the scene at around 2.40pm on Tuesday following reports of a two vehicle crash - with one understood to be an electric scooter or bike.
Officers closed the road near the junction with Ashgill Road while they carried out enquiries.
The street was reopened shortly before 4.30pm.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers received report of a two-vehicle crash on Haywood Street in Glasgow around 2.40pm on Monday, 20 June, 2022.
“Emergency services attended and a 23-year-old man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment for serious injuries.
“The road was re-opened around 4.25pm.”
