Parents have condemned the "disgusting behaviour" of teenagers reported to have "exposed" themselves to young children.
Writing on the Halton Homewatch page on Facebook, the mum of one of the youngsters said the offending youths also said "vile, disgusting things" during the incident in Runcorn on Thursday evening. She said her daughter, who was under the age of 10, had been left "traumatised", adding that the parents of whoever was responsible need to "have a word" to "teach your kids about appropriate behaviour".
Cheshire Police told the ECHO officers were called to The Glen in Palacefields, Runcorn, at 7.52pm following a report that teenagers had "exposed their bottoms to young children". They then carried out a search but no suspects were identified.

The incident has caused outrage on social media.
Many Facebook users replied to the original post to condemn the "disgusting behaviour”, with one person branding it "appalling" and another a "horrible thing for them to experience".
One resident said: "Absolutely disgusting, what's going on? The kids are getting worse."
Another person replied: "Whoever the kids are I hope when the police get hold of them that they realise that behaviour is inappropriate. It is absolutely vile behaviour, I hope the parents of the older kids put an appropriate punishment in place."
One social media user said: "Imagine what they are going to turn out like when they are older."
A Cheshire Police spokeswoman told the ECHO: "At 7.52pm on Thursday, April 20 police were called to The Glen, Palacefields following a report that two teenagers had exposed their bottoms to young children.
"Officers made a search of the area but no-one was identified as the suspects.
"Police would urge anyone who has any information to contact police on 101 quoting IML 1528905."
