East Lothian police have launched a probe after a man was stabbed on a quiet village street in an evening attack.
The incident took place on Tuesday, November 22 at around 8.25 pm on Redburn Road in Prestonpans.

Police raced to the scene after reports of a stabbing and a 33-year-old man was rushed to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for treatment.
The casualty's current condition remains unknown and Police Scotland have launched an investigation into the shocking attack.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.25 pm on Tuesday, 22 November 2022, we were made aware of a man injured on Redburn Road, Prestonpans.
“A 33-year-old man was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for treatment."

They added: "No one has been arrested at this time. Police enquiries are ongoing."
