A popular television show has been axed by ITV after over three decades of programming, leaving fans devastated.
You've Been Framed has officially been shut down by the broadcasting company, reports Birmingham Live. The show was famous for paying their viewers £250 to submit hilarious clips.
Popular comedian Harry Hill has been narrating the programme since 2004, with the show originally beginning in 1990. The show was first commissioned as a pilot and aired on ITV on 14 April 1990, with Jeremy Beadle as the host. Lisa Riley took over the role as host from Beadle in 1998 before Harry took on the job 19 years ago.

After removing the series from the ITV website, a source has said: "The fact that You’ve Been Framed has been shelved is a sad sign of the times. It’s a different world to Jeremy Beadle’s heyday.
"Why would viewers tune in to a show featuring funny videos when they could see the same sort of thing on the internet?
“Silly clips are hugely popular on social media and the right video can go viral. There’s a thrill in achieving that — even though you don’t earn the £250 fee which You’ve Been Framed paid for contributions.”
Fans have taken to social media to share their upset at the show being cancelled, with one Twitter user writing: "You've Been Framed used to my dream career, £250 for a video of me running into a door? I was going to be a millionaire."
Another said: "Devastating news about you’ve been framed. Top 3 show ever."
And a third wrote: "@HarryHill harry , why are they axing you've been framed ? It's not fair , if anything they need to axe crap like love island ! #saveyouvebeenframed @ITV."
More comments read: "Please please ITV2 bring back Harry hill's you've been framed show. ITV2 is a cult TV channel on Freeview HD. I and many fan's love ITV2. All incredible comedy shows and Harry's brightens up our week and weekends comedy viewing."
One noted: "Odd that ITV are ditching You've Been Framed.
"It must be one of the cheapest shows to produce for the channel being as it endlessly recycles clips and is still awarding the same £250 it did when the thing started THIRTY THREE YEARS AGO!"
And one cheeky viewer joked: "Heard 'You've Been Framed!' did one final episode last night. It was called Liverpool v Real Madrid highlights!"
