'You should resign' - Roy Keane jokes with Erik ten Hag after dancing with Man United players

Roy Keane was quick to joke with Erik ten Hag about his dancing during Manchester United's celebrations after defeating Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup final at Wembley.

The Reds secured a 2-0 victory over the Magpies thanks to a Casemiro header and an own goal from Sven Botman, both of which came in the first half. It was the first trophy that United have won since 2017.

After the final, Ten Hag and his players celebrated their triumph together on the Wembley pitch. One moment in particular caught the eye of supporters, with the United manager dancing with Lisandro Martinez and Antony - in the same way that he did during their time together at Ajax.

Keane, who was on punditry duty for Sky Sports on Sunday, was quick to joke about Ten Hag's dance moves, before going on to laud the performances of Casemiro since his arrival at Old Trafford in the summer.

"There is a bit of dancing there, it’s actually quite good, to be fair," joked Keane. "He’s [Casemiro] amazing and you have to get up close to him and see how good he is, he now understands the English game and if you look at the players at United, it looks like it is the first trophy that they have won, and these players are used to winning these trophies."

When Ten Hag joined the punditry panel to discuss the game, he was asked if he would be doing any more dancing. Before the Dutchman could answer the question, Keane joked: "You should resign after that! You should resign tonight."

The United boss couldn't help but laugh at Keane's comments, with the Irishman clearly in good spirits after seeing his former side lift the trophy.
