Antonio Conte fears he could be sacked before the end of the season by Tottenham Hotspur after their Champions League exit on Wednesday evening.
Needing to overturn a one-goal deficit from their first leg with AC Milan, Spurs failed to issue any response on home soil and were left facing an uphill battle following Cristian Romero's red card during the second half.
This result ensured the wait for a trophy will go on for the London side, who are now out of all competitions they entered at the start of the campaign and are battling with Liverpool for fourth place in the Premier League.

Making their feelings known at the full-time whistle of last night's fixture, Spurs were loudly booed by their own supporters in what was Conte's first game back on the touchline after three weeks having been recovering from gallbladder surgery.
The pressure is now on for the Lilywhites to ensure they will be back in next season's Champions League, though this is far from a certainty and Conte is aware his position is uncertain.
“I have a contract that is running down and we’ll see how the season ends," the Italian told reporters. "You never know, the club might want to get rid of me earlier. They might sack me even before the end of the season. Perhaps they had higher expectations and can be disappointed.”
“I have a contract with Tottenham and they know my thoughts and at the end of the season, we will meet and make a decision,” Conte said. “I have a great relationship with my chairman [Daniel Levy] and Fabio Paratici [the managing director] but that doesn’t mean I don’t tell them what my vision is. We have to finish the season. I’m happy to work in Tottenham but in the end I will make a decision.”
Spurs lead Liverpool in the Premier League standings by three points, but Jurgen Klopp's side have played one game fewer. The two teams will meet at Anfield on April 30.
