Liverpool fans have been reacting to Mohamed Salah’s omission from FIFA’s Best World eleven.
The Reds forward was nominated for FIFA’s The Best award alongside Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski and Paris Saint-Germain’s Lionel Messi.
Lewandowski won the top award for his efforts with Bayern, but there was still the honour of finishing in the FIFPRO XI.
However, Salah still missed out, with FIFA going with a rather bizarre 3-3-4 formation.
Plenty of Liverpool fans took to social media to give their reactions to Salah’s omission, with many making the same point.
Many also argued why no Liverpool players featured at all in the line-up, as well as Salah not being included.
PSG’s Gianluigi Donnarumma gets in as the goalkeeper, with Ruben Dias (Manchester City), Leonardo Bonucci (Juventus) and David Alaba (Real Madrid) making up a back three defence.
Midfield features only Premier League players, with N’Golo Kane (Chelsea), Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City) and Jorginho (Chelsea) included.
And in the forward line, four players have been included - Messi (PSG), Lewandowski (Bayern Munich), Erling Haaland (Borussia Dortmund) and Cristiano Ronaldo (Manchester United).
