'You just don't listen' - Barry Ferguson quizzed on irate Rangers touchline shout

Barry Ferguson has admitted he was furious at Rangers players for failing to follow instructions in the draw against St Mirren.

The Ibrox interim boss repeatedly stated after the 2-2 draw that he was angry as players did not carry out tactics prepared during the week as he cited hours in one-to-one and collective meetings with members of the squad.

He said: "When you spend a week sitting down individually and then collectively and you work on things and you show them video stuff, what you're wanting the team to do. And they don't carry it out at times, it's frustrating."

At one point during the match, Ferguson shouted from the sidelines, 'You just don't listen'.

The Rangers manager was grilled on the message after the match as he made his feeling clears over the disappointing result.

"Yeah, well obviously you've got good hearing," said the Rangers interim boss of his shout.

"I shout at a lot of things. Hopefully you don't repeat the other things that I shout. Yeah, listen, I'm passionate on the sidelines.

"That's one thing. Again, I'll go back to it but when you want players to try and take instruction and they don't do it, it's certainly going to frustrate me and I'm going to make my feelings known.

"I made my feelings known at half-time and I made my feelings known certainly after the game."
