'You could lick my face': Phil Schofield delighted as he reunites with Holly Willoughby on This Morning

Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield are finally reunited on This Morning.

It has been weeks since the co-hosts have appeared on the ITV daytime show together, after both presenters have been absent from the show.

Phillip Schofield has been isolating at home since last Monday after testing positive for coronavirus, with Rochelle Humes, Alison Hammond, Vernon Kay and Josie Gibson each drafted in to replace him.

But before her return on Monday, Holly Willoughby has also been missing from the show for almost three weeks whilst filming her new programme on BBC One.

Taking to Instagram to share her outfit, Holly, 40, celebrated as she announced Phil's much anticipated return.

"Morning Wednesday, @schofe is back. See you on this morning at 10am," she wrote alongside confetti emojis.

As it has been a while since the pair have presented This Morning together, Holly told Lorraine she is 'very happy' to have Phil back.

"I'm very happy to have him back, we haven't seen each other in forever," Holly said ahead of the programme starting.

And as the 10am show began, the co-presenters were visibly excited to be reunited as Phil revealed he is now 'fully anti-bodied'.

"Good morning and welcome to your Wednesday morning, looks who is back," Holly beamed.

"You realise I am now fully anti-bodied-up, you could lick my face," Phil laughed.

"I'm bullet proof for 90 days allegedly."

The pair then laughed hysterically as Holly joked "we'll work up to licking."

After Stephen Mulhern stepped in to replace Phillip Schofield on Dancing On Ice last Sunday, it is expected that Phil will return alongside Holly to host the ice-skating competition this weekend.
