A new experience is opening in the Arndale shopping centre later this year, where visitors can try to take on one of television's most difficult gameshows.
Urban Playground is taking over a row of retail units that were previously home to Burton, Miss Selfridge, Evans and Dorothy Perkins until the collapse of the Arcadia group.
The new site will be home to The Cube Live Experience, based on the hit ITV show hosted by Philip Schofield.

The programme challenges contestants to complete what seem like easy tasks - like walking in a straight line blindfolded, or picking up red balls in a set time - inside a Perspex box.
Many of us will have been shouting at the TV watching people fail to beat The Cube, and now you can have a go for yourself.
It will be the first time members of the public will be able to try the challenges, with teams of up to four able to choose from seven games.

The news of The Cube Live Experience comes hot on the heels of the opening of the I'm A Celebrity Jungle Challenge at Salford Quays, also based on an ITV series.
Urban Playground's plans will also see a mini golf course built inside the city centre shopping destination, with three different nine-hole challenges to try.
Live scoreboards, on-screen animations, and audio will make Putters a high-tech golf experience.
Teams of up to six can work their way around the course.
Two bars are included in the plans to transform the empty retail units, one a cocktail bar for Putters, and the other a sleek bar for The Cube experience where you can watch other people take on the challenge.
There's food too, in the form of burger joint The Butcher.
It will be the first UK opening for the renowned burger business, which was founded in Amsterdam but has since expanded to Berlin, Ibiza and Dubai as well as opening multiple sites in its home city.
Expect top-quality Aberdeen Angus beef burgers, homemade buns and signature sauces.
This is the latest in a series of ' competitive socialising ' experiences to open at the Arndale.
Roxy Ball Room took over the old Birdcage site within the building last year, and Electric Playbox has also opened at Halle Place.
