You can now stay the night in Bella Swan’s house from Twilight films

Despite the first book in the Twilight saga being published 16 years ago and the first film instalment coming three years later, the fandom surrounding the story of Bella Swan and Edward Cullen just doesn't seem to shake its popularity.

The passion for the story of a love triangle featuring a vampire and a werewolf lives on, both in the dog-eared copy of the books and in the resurgence of the main theme music from the films on TikTok.

And now, die-hard fans can physically stay at the home that was once featured as Bella Swan's, via Airbnb. I repeat, this is not a drill, it's the exact physical house famed by the saga.

The house was built in 1935 and was chosen for the movie because it hadn’t been updated a lot in that timeframe.

In the films, the house was depicted as being in Forks, Washington, but in real life, the home and filming location can be found in St Helens, Oregon.

The multitude of scenes that took place in Bella's house were filmed on location in the house for the original film, but for the following movies, production moved to a soundstage.

In 2018, Bella’s house sold for $363,000. A couple named Amber and Dean Neufeld bought it and had quite the lightbulb moment when they decided to transform it into an Airbnb, somewhere that fans can make a pilgrimage to and immerse themselves in all things Twilight.

But just how did they manage to restore the interior of the house to being almost an exact replica of what we see in the films?

Fans from all over the world have sent Amber and Dean items that appeared in the movie or look very similar, so that they are able to replicate the house as accurately as possible.

Writing on their Instagram, Amber said: "When my husband and I learned that the Swan House was on the market in 2018, we had to go take a look. Just like many other fans, I had previously visited this home to admire the outside and take photos in front of it.

"Seeing the inside of the home in person, which we previously had only seen on screen, was a surreal experience. Never in my wildest dreams did I think that our offer on the home would be accepted, but here we are.

"After purchasing this charming 1935 home we found ourselves commuting back and forth a lot while maintaining the property as a vacation rental, and we really fell in love with Columbia County.

"So in October of 2020 we packed up our belongings and moved. We now live only 20 minutes away from the Twilight Swan House."

The home can accommodate eight guests in five bedrooms and many of the original details from the movie can be seen in the house today, including the vintage green kitchen.

The description for the home on Airbnb describes it best, saying: "Stay in this famous movie house! For the first time ever, you are now able to experience the inside of the home, so lovingly referred to as the Twilight Swan House. This house was featured as the home of Charlie and Bella Swan in the movie Twilight.

"This charming 1930's home is located in a quiet neighbourhood in downtown Saint Helens, within walking distance to the historic riverfront. Short drive to Portland.

"This house was used for filming in the movie Twilight! Take photos recreating all of your favourite Twilight scenes! Dine at Charlie's actual dining table that was used in filming.

"Sleep in Bella's bedroom! Team Edward?--Sleep in the "lookout" room, overlooking the front yard, which is where Bella looks out the window to see Edward parked. Team Jacob?--Sleep in the "Jacob Black guest room", located off the main entry downstairs."

The house is hugely popular with booking slots filling up incredibly quickly.

Amber and Dean accept bookings 12 months in advance and are currently fully booked.

On the first of every month at 9am PST, they open the books for that month the following year, so you'll have to be ready and waiting if you want to book and experience the house for yourself.
