A charming hideaway above Gavin Henson's pub has become available for a south Wales getaway. The private bed and bathroom rental sits above The Fox in St Brides Major, complete with a freestanding bath and ensuite.
The room features quaint fox details paying homage to the pub it resides in, and is perfect for a getaway for two. The "charming decor" features wooden roof beams, a king-size double bed, a sofa, and modern furnishings.
The accomodation is situated in the centre of St Brides, just a five-minute drive away from Dunraven Bay, Southerndown, and right above the village's only pub. Free parking is available on site, with WiFi also included.
For those wanting to enjoy the spectacular walks and views the Vale of Glamorgan has to offer, they're also welcome to bring along their pets to this animal-friendly lodging. Other amenities include a TV and long-term stays are permitted. The location is also a short bus journey away from Bridgend town, which has a train station perfect to pop into Cardiff or Swansea for the day.
The AirBnb is Gavin Henson and his wife Katie's latest venture after taking over the Fox in 2019. The listing currently states "soon to open", however the calendar is open from Wednesday, July 27 to enquire about bookings. The room costs £150 per night, plus a cleaning and service fee.
