Negroni Sbagliato is the drink of the month, following Emma D’Arcy’s viral video

After the video of House of the Dragon actors Emma D’Arcy and Olivia Cooke discussing their favourite cocktails went viral, fans everywhere have been ordering Negroni Sbagliato at bars or making them at home.
In an HBO video, in which the actors interview each other, Olivia asks Emma: “What’s your drink of choice?”
Emma responds: “A negroni.”
Olivia tells Emma: “I was going to say the same thing,” before the Rhaenyra actor clarifies: “Sbagliato… with prosecco in it.”
Fans were won over by D’Arcy’s charming explanation of the drink, as well as Cooke’s sweet reaction.
Its popularity is reflected in its search stats: according to delivery service Getir, Google searches for Negroni Sbagliato increased by 1,758 per cent since the TikTok video was released in early October, with 60,000 people searching for the drink.
There were also reports of bartenders being inundated with orders, while people reported struggling to find the ingredients at the supermarket.
But now, to make it easier for fans of D’Arcy’s drink of choice, Getir is selling Negroni Sbagliato ingredient bundles.
For £30, cocktail fans can order a bundle, including Martini Rosso Vermouth, Campari, and Il Caggio Prosecco Spumante Extra Dry NV, straight to their door.
The Negroni Sbagliato – a twist on the classic Negroni – switches out gin for prosecco.
It went viral when HBO’s TikTok of D’Arcy and Cooke blew up – it currently has more than 20 million views and 1.7 million likes.
It’s made with equal parts bitter Campari liqueur, sweet vermouth, and prosecco, and served in an old-fashioned glass.
As we all know by now, it’s the Rhaenyra Targaryen actor’s go-to cocktail. So what better drink to sip while enjoying the upcoming House of the Dragon finale?
