Cornetto is tapping into the mythical trend by launching a new mermaid-themed ice cream.
A magical treat for sweet tooths, it's made with matcha green tea and raspberry-flavoured ice cream and topped with sweet blue starfish and silver ball sprinkles.
What's more, the frozen delight has a pink wafer cone instead of the traditional brown one.
It also comes wrapped in a holographic pink and blue wrapper - which is designed to look like mermaid scales.
And UK shoppers can get their hands on the colourful frozen dessert at Tesco and Sainsbury's supermarkets nationwide.
Jeannie Richardson, Senior Brand Manager of Cornetto, said: "Reflecting the trend for all things mermaid-inspired we’re excited to be bringing our new Cornetto Mermaid to shore this summer. Not only does it taste delicious, it looks incredible too!
"We’re certain that the unique look combined with the tangy and creamy flavours, Cornetto Mermaid is sure to bring smiles to ice-cream lovers across the UK this summer."
The new Mermaid Cornetto can be purchased as a 120ml single cone or in a multipack of four 90ml ice creams.
Single cones will set you back £1.20 each, while the multipacks are priced at £3, making them 75p each.
The frozen treats are already a hit on social media, with Instagram page KevsSnackReviews saying that they're available at Wilko for £1.50 each.
The social media account posted a picture of the ice creams, along with the caption: "NEW FIND New Cornetto Mermaid Edition. With “raspberry fruit ice and matcha green tea ice cream in a wafer cone with chocolate flavour coating, raspberry sauce and biscuit and cereal pieces covered in white chocolate” Spotted in @lovewilko , £1.50 each."
One person wrote: "Omgoodness!! Mermaid Cornetto. What!!??"
While another said: "These sound delicious."
The new dessert comes after the huge success of 'Unicornetto' which was launched in Thailand back in 2018.
If you're looking for alcoholic drinks, Absolut have launched a new passionfruit flavoured vodka that's perfect for drinking in spring.
Those who shop at Waitrose will be pleased to hear that the posh supermarket has launched its Easter range for 2020 - and it includes a lemon-inspired chocolate egg.
