Search trends suggest apprenticeships are seeing a bit of a boom in the UK, with 22,000 Google queries last month. And, if you're an ice cream lover, then there could well be the perfect apprenticeship for you on the market.
It comes as RateMyApprenticeship is attempting to bust myths about apprenticeships. It says many people believe they are opportunities to get into trades.
But in fact, apprenticeships are available in a range of topics. One available, the firm says, is an ice cream tester with popular brand Unilever.
Paying between £16,000 and £17,999 a year, the successful applicant on the Unilever Food Professional degree apprenticeship will get paid to create ice creams, beverages and other food items. They will also study for a BSc in Food Science and Technology at the same time.
RateMyApprenticeship says apprenticeships date back as far as 1563. It has also come up with other cool apprenticeships you might not have even known existed:

Train as an engineer for UK Defence
