You can get paid to stay in a ridiculously dreamy Caribbean hotel for a month

Spending a month at a luxury Caribbean hotel enjoying the food, hitting the beach and having spa treatments sounds like a lavish holiday worthy of the A-list - but now us mere mortals can get a slice of the action.

That's because the lavish Boardwalk Aruba boutique hotel is looking for someone to come and spend at least a month living in one of its 46 suites with a private plunge pool and outdoor shower - and they'll pay you for the privilege.

The hotel is looking for a 'Social Media Content Creator' to document the experience for them, and the job description is basically the stuff of dream holidays.

Daily responsibilities will including hitting the beach, lounging poolside, sampling the food and drink at the restaurants, and generally soaking up the island's atmosphere. In fact, they'll even give you a rental car and monthly allowance so you can do some exploring around the island too.

Oh, and if you have a day where you need to be at a desk, but don't want to miss out on the sunshine then that problem is instantly solved, as the hotel will offer you a 'workation desk' on the beach.

Starting to think this sounds like your dream job?

Applications have already opened on the Boardwalk Aruba website. You'll need to fill out a short form including why you think you're the best person for the job, a description of your content style and any examples of your favourite pictures or videos that you've taken.

You'll need to apply by April 14, 2022, when the applications close.

We can't imagine that getting beautiful pictures will be difficult in Aruba. The island is filled with pristine white sand beaches -it's even home to one of the world's most beautiful beaches - as well as boasting crystalline swim-friendly waters, vibrant bars and restaurants, and lush green landscapes that will leave you feeling as if you've just walked onto a film set (Arikok National Park is a must-visit).

Meanwhile, those who take to the waters can also enjoy a host of adventures, from the breathtaking diving sites and shipwrecks to discover, to the wide array of colourful marine life to be found hidden around Aruba's shores.

Of course a trip to the Caribbean isn't exactly the most budget-friendly of breaks for Brits, but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy a similar bit of dreaming closer to home. In fact, the UK has some ridiculously pretty beaches that could be mistaken for the Caribbean, with white sands, beautiful waters and plenty of breathtaking attractions.

Yes, the hot and sunny weather isn't going to be the same, but they're well worth a visit while you save up for that once-in-a-lifetime getaway!
