Black Mirror fans could be paid £1,000 to binge the show over two days.
The platform, VegasSlotsOnline.com, which produces a guide to the best online slot games, is looking for one die-hard fan to become its ‘Black Mirror Binger’ in order to help it predict the likelihood of the storyline of every single episode happening in real life. Each episode will be reviewed to create a Black Mirror Inevitability Index, a score out of 100, where 100 denotes an episode theme that has either already happened in real life or is certain to.
Fans of the show will be given the chance to earn while they watch all 27 episodes of the dystopian hit, as well as the 2018 interactive film Bandersnatch. They will then work with odds analysts to determine which storylines are most likely to happen.

The sixth series of the hit TV series created by Charlie Brooker is currently streaming on Netflix, featuring stars such as Salma Hayek, Rob Delaney, Aaron Paul, and Josh Hartnett. Andy Parker, from VegasSlotsOnline.com said: “Black Mirror is a dystopian phenomenon, pushing its stories to the very limit of ‘what if…?’ and making people really think about the reality, and fragility, of the human condition.”
He added: “I know I won’t be alone when I say that every episode has sparked a discussion about what someone might do if they were ever in those situations, so we wanted to take that idea seriously. Just how likely is it, based on current political, social, and technological events, that these storylines could one day play out in real life?
“That’s what we’re hoping to find out, and I can’t wait for our Binger to make it happen. We deal in odds and predictions every day as part of our work reviewing online games to help gamers choose the best and safest places to play, so why not look at them as part of the real world? If you love Black Mirror, this is definitely not an opportunity to miss out on.”
You can find more information and apply to be the binger here. You must be 21 or over at the time of application, have your own Netflix account, and be available to stream and discuss findings the week commencing July 3.
The deadline is 11:59pm on June 28. The Black Mirror Inevitability Index will be publicly released the week commencing July 10.
