You can fly from Cardiff to picture-perfect resort with pristine white beaches for less than £100

If you’re looking for a change of scene and some Spanish sunshine without the hefty price tag, you might want to bag yourself a seat on a Tui flight over the next few days. You could be walking across picture-perfect beaches in no time at all by visiting Altfulla, the dreamy coastal town in Tarragona.

You can fly direct to Reus, a city originally famous for its liqueur production, for just £90. That's £4.00 less than it takes to get a train from Cardiff Central to London Paddington right now. And from there, the stunning resort of Altfulla is just 15 miles away.

You can book this flight here. Tui has return flights at this price from Tuesday, July 4, and this comes with 10k of hand luggage per person.

The flight from Cardiff to Reus lasts just over two hours. And if you are staying in Altfulla, here's what you can expect:

Gorgeous beaches

If white sand and a tropical feel is your thing when it comes to beaches, Altfulla's beach is the place to be. With plenty going on with lots of restaurants nearby, views that you'll be keen to snap a picture of for your Instagram.

Architecturally, Altfulla has some real gems you won't want to miss. Especially the castle which towers above the beach and looks like something from a Disney film.

Amazing walking

There are some incredible walking routes around this Spanish city. The Port d'Altafulla to Castell de Tamarit loop from Altfulla is a highly popular route among locals, and is ideal for people with any fitness level, making it an easy hike if you want to take it steady.

A slice of history

There is plenty of history to get your teeth into in and around the city, including Els Munts, the Roman Villa, which was one of a number of Roman towns that were built around Tarraco, the great Roman city that today is known as Tarragona. Els Munts is close to the beach of Altafulla, and was where the governor of Tarraco, Caius Valerius Avitus as well as his wife Faustina used to live.

And if none of this tickles your fancy- here are some other low-cost flights from Cardiff you can board without breaking the bank in July:
