Macarthur boss Dwight Yorke is hopeful Daniel Arzani will be fit to face Perth Glory after the winger picked up a shoulder injury in last week's loss to Melbourne Victory.
Arzani was on the end of some rough treatment in Sunday's defeat and Yorke made a point of raising concerns about how the 23-year-old and star playmaker Ulises Davila are treated by opposition sides.
Opta data shows that heading into round eight of the A-League Men season, only Melbourne City's Mathew Leckie (22 fouls won) had been fouled more often than Arzani (21).
"We have had to manage him (Arzani) because he wasn't able to be himself this week," Yorke said.
"Hopefully by (kick-off) it should get a little better, I won't say it'll be totally cleared up but he should be feeling a little bit better."
Yorke is conscious creative players like Arzani and Davila are likely to come in for some heavy treatment but said he had not spoken with the referees' department to clear up his concerns.
"We clearly have some exciting players on our team and I feel sometimes (the) opposition are targeting some of our key players," he said.
"That is something that needs to be looked at. We're not just crying out.
"We're not a team that is moaning and groaning about certain situations, because after all, it's a man's game.
"But equally, we just need to be fair when the decisions are made."
Perth travel to Sydney buoyed after securing a 2-1 win over Western United in their first home game last Saturday.
The club announced the capture of Socceroos forward Adam Taggart earlier this week, although he is unlikely to play against the Bulls.
"I'm expecting an interesting one, because Dwight Yorke is a coach who's letting his players play with a real element of freedom which makes them unpredictable," Glory coach Ruben Zadkovich said.
"They've got some high-quality individuals and some real threats and we'll have to be at our best defensively in this game to nullify those threats.
"If we do that, we'll win."
