Yogi Naraeyana’s Jayanthi celebrations in Mysuru

Yogi Naraeyana Banajiga’s Jayanthi was celebrated in Mysuru on Sunday.

While the district administration in association with the department of Kannada and Culture conducted the Jayanthi celebrations at Kalamandira in Mysuru, a procession was taken out in the premises of Sri Yogi Narayana Banajiga (Balija) Association premises in Saraswathipuram in Mysuru.

Former Chairperson of Mysuru Paints and Varnishes H.A. Venkatesh described Sri Yogi Naraeyana, who was also referred as Thataiya, as a social reformer. He said Sri Yogi Naraeyana’s teachings were relevant for all times.
