New Aberdeen CEO Alan Burrows has revealed his appreciation for midfielder Ylber Ramadani after the Dons thumped Hearts 3-0 on Saturday.
The Albanian midfielder has been one of the standout players for the Pittodrie outfit this season and has developed a good relationship with Graeme Shinnie since the former Don joined on loan in January. Barry Robson's side closed the gap to the Jambos in third position to four points after a double from Duk and a first Aberdeen goal from defender Mattie Pollock.
Shinnie and Ramadani have been pivotal in reversing Aberdeen's fortunes since Jim Goodwin was sacked by chairman Dave Cormack in late January following a 6-0 thumping by Hibs at Easter Road. Since then Robson has presided over four wins and two losses in his six games in the dugout. Ramadani will now head to Albania to join up with his international teammates as they prepare to take on Poland next Monday in a Euro 2024 qualifier in Warsaw.
Following Aberdeen's win over Robbie Neilson's Hearts side Ramadani took to social media post pictures of him in action at Pittodrie on Saturday. In reply Burrows sent a reply saying, "e mahnitshme" which translates to 'amazing'.
