Celebrity designers Pierce & Ward's West Elm collection is one of the best we've ever seen – the vintage-inspired accessories are the real stars

Vintage-inspired panelled bedroom with a yellow checked rug, an upholstered bed with mis matched printed bed linens and a small wooden step stool.

Known for their effortlessly cool interiors that mix the old and the new better than anyone around, celebrated design duo Louisa Pierce and Emily Ward have just dropped a collaboration with West Elm that feels like it was plucked straight from a vintage store.

Their roster of celebrity clients is hugely impressive, so it is about time a retailer tapped them to bring a touch of their layered signature style to us mere mortals. And boy, does the Pierce & Ward for West Elm collaboration deliver.

Melding together their favorite styles from over the years to create pieces that are rich in personality and warmth, the entire 100-piece collection is undeniably gorgeous, but it is the vintage-inspired, eclectic accessories that have really got us excited.

You might recognize Pierce & Ward's interior design style more than their name. Think Dakota Johnson's small kitchen that went viral for its pea green shade, Josh Brolin's maximalist living room, or their eclectic designs for names like Emma Roberts (an internet fave), Kate Hudson, and Leonard DiCaprio, among others.

So, with their credentials firmly in check, the duo set themselves a new project – bringing their unique style to a wider audience via West Elm. 'They trusted our vision, and with the help of their talented team, we were able to bring our dream collection to life,' say Louisa and Emily. 'Our goal was for each piece to feel like it had been pulled from a different place and time, coming together to form a truly special and eclectic mix. The balance of textures and patterns, combined with vintage-inspired designs, provide a sense of lived-in luxury and comfort.'

Of course, the collection is filled with statement-making big-ticket pieces that will instantly transform a room – from cozy seating and tiny drinks tables to the covetable Upholstered Sleigh Bed and an Iron Bench to place at the foot of it – but the accessories and smaller pieces are the real stars of this collaboration.

Decor is the soul of design; it brings that final flourish of style or personality that makes the space feel collected and truly sets a home apart.

From moody lighting to expertly crafted textiles, what makes this collaboration so special is how each accent piece mimics the layered, old-meets-new look that Pierce & Ward are best known for. Easy to mix and match into your existing decor, these smaller touches carry the duo’s signature blend of bold yet livable design to bring transitional design to your home.

If you want to elevate your space without a full overhaul, accessories are where you should start. With that in mind, here are the vintage-inspired accents from Pierce & Ward for West Elm that we think are worth adding to your home right now.

Eager to see more of the collection? You can, of course, shop the entire 100-piece collection at West Elm, where you'll find even more accent pieces to put the cherry on top of your decor and plenty of swoon-worthy furniture pieces like the stripey Curved Slipper Chair or the Round Dining Table that nails the burl wood trend. Finally, if you're looking to learn a little bit more about the dynamic design duo, might we suggest picking up their coffee table read: A Tale of Interiors by Louisa Pierce and Emily Ward at Amazon?
