West Lothian is set to be battered with snow as a yellow weather warning comes into force from 4pm.
The Met Office has issued the warning for snow until 11am tomorrow morning.
A yellow wind warning is also in place from 3am tomorrow until noon.
People have been told to brace themselves for travel disruption as temperatures are also expected to struggle to get above freezing during.
Forecasters also warning of the risk of icy patches on the roads and pavements.
The Met Office yellow warning reads: “Showers will fall as snow to quite low levels on Wednesday evening and night.
“Accumulations of 2-5cm are possible above 200 metres elevation with perhaps 10cm on some of the highest routes above 400 metres.
“At lower levels some slight slushy falls are possible, as well as a risk of icy surfaces, before the snow becomes more confined to high ground during Thursday morning.”
Tomorrow morning winds are expected to pick up to highs of around 75mph during this period, according to forecasters.
