Lanarkshire is bracing itself for another blast of wild wintry weather over the next couple of days as a yellow warning for snow and ice was issued for the area.
The warning in place until 6pm today is for both snow and ice, with wintry showers likely to combine with icy surfaces to cause some travel disruption, mainly to higher routes.
Some roads and railways are likely to be affected with longer journey times by road, bus and train services
There is also a very small chance of interruptions to power supplies.
Icy patches are expected on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths.
And between 6pm today and 10am tomorrow morning there is a yellow warning for icy conditions.
