Former Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure believes that the Premier League title race is firmly in the balance after Saturday's results.
On Wednesday night, the Blues moved to the top of the league on goal difference thanks to a 3-1 victory at the Emirates Stadium. Arsenal reclaimed their place at the summit after a dramatic 4-2 win against Aston Villa in the early kick off.
City had the opportunity to move back into first later that day at Nottingham Forest. Despite dominating proceedings at the City Ground, the Blues could not add to Bernardo Silva's goal and were made to pay when Chris Wood equalised late on.

Toure, who has just received the 2023 Football Writers’ Association Tribute Award which acknowledges individuals who have made an 'outstanding contribution to the national game', believes that the top two are equally matched in the Premier League. "At this moment Arsenal are doing fantastically well," Toure said as he collected the 2023 Football Writers’ Association Tribute Award in London on Sunday evening.
"The pressure is going to go both ways. You can see the results where Man City lost a point and Arsenal get three points in a tough game where they have twice been on the back foot.
"The fans will be enjoying it. I don’t know who will win it.
"I hope Man City will make it but let’s see as they are both in fantastic form in the running at the moment." City sit two points behind the Gunners but the North London club have a game in hand on the Blues.
City will be able to take a break from the league in midweek when they travel to RB Leipzig in the Champions League. The tie on Wednesday is the first leg of the round of 16.
