One of London’s biggest pizza brands, Yard Sale, has teamed up with anonymous multihyphenate (author-chef-social media personality) Slutty Cheff for its latest collaboration.
The new pizza, in partnership with Slutty Cheff, is named for her forthcoming book Tart.
The toppings are an acronym for the tongue-in-cheek title and feature thyme, andouille sausage, Romano peppers and “Tom's hot sauce,” which is being produced by the Leyton Cajun restaurant Decatur.
Taking the collaboration up a notch, each pizza is set to come with a short story written by Slutty Chef. A teaser to her wider book release — slated for summer 2025 — the short story about food and sex opens with the line: “Sex with him was like the first bite of pizza, with all my favourite toppings.”
Yard Sale is famed for its partnerships, which have recently included the likes of chef Yotam Ottolenghi, burger group Bleecker Burger and the musician Loyle Carner.
Commenting on the collaboration itself, Slutty Cheff noted: “I’m honoured to be doing a pizza with Yard Sale, who has done some iconic collabs in the past.”
She continued: “My pizza is in celebration of my new book Tart, and so I created the flavour with sex and stories in mind. The pizza is linked to a narrative; there are four toppings, all of which make up an excellent pizza and excellent sex.”
The pizza is available across the Yard Sale group, which operates 13 sites across the capital, from November 13 until December 3. Slutty Chef’s debut book, Tart, is available to pre-order now.
