Yankees’ Jose Trevino used a nifty move to avoid being an easy out at home and fans loved it

Baseball is fun because sometimes things can change in a second.

Jose Trevino knows what I’m talking about because last night he was barreling home and should have been a sure out at the plate but then the 5-foot-11, 210-pound catcher pulled off a nifty little move to avoid the tag at the plate and scored a run for the New York Yankees, who went on to beat the Los Angeles Angels, 9-1, in the Bronx.

Trevino is a catcher, too, so he knows all about trying to get someone out at the plate. But he apparently also knows about being fleet-footed, because this was pretty sweet:

I mean, how’d he do that!?

Twitter loved it.
