The Yamaha Blue Core engine efficiency technology powers the Fazzio Hybrid's single-cylinder, SPOHC engine with a displacement of 124.8 cc. With a CVT gearbox and belt drive, the Fazzio is reported to produce 8.3 horsepower at 6,500 rpm, making it just right for in-city and around-town commuting. When accelerating under heavy loads, the Smart Motor Generator assists the engine by releasing a surge of power for up to three seconds.
