Yaber unveils K300s laser projector at CES 2025, a game-changer for home entertainment

Yaber.

Home projectors have gone from niche gadgets to movie night must-haves in recent years. Compact and affordable, they’ve become a popular alternative to traditional TVs - especially for those craving a cinematic experience at home.

One brand making waves in this space is Yaber, who has made quite the impression at CES this year with the unveiling of its K300s Ultra Short Throw Laser Projector. It’s a mouthful of a name, but this sleek device is about elevating the home entertainment experience with cutting-edge features - all in a space-saving design that swerves the fuss of traditional setups.

Yaber redefined home entertainment when it introduced the world’s first LED entertainment projector, the Y30, back in 2019. With built-in 3W dual stereo speakers and an SRS sound system, it pioneered a new category in the industry, providing a great auditory sense experience without external speakers.

Fast-forward six years, and Yaber has done it again with the all-new K300s. Whether you’re into bingeing movies, gaming, or just want to upgrade your TV setup, Yaber’s latest laser projector has been designed to give you a big-screen experience without needing a massive living room or a complex setup. Let’s have a closer look.

A huge screen without rearranging your room

The star of the show here is the K300s’ ultra-short throw tech. According to Yaber, this means it can project a 100-inch image from just nine inches away. All without messing about with wall mounts or putting a projector halfway across the room - ideal if you’ve got limited space but still want that big-screen wow factor.

The Yaber K300s features Triple RGB Laser Technology, delivering over 150% NTSC wide color gamut for vibrant and rich colors. With a high contrast ratio of 1500:1, it offers exceptional image depth and detail.

Powered by NovaGlow™ technology, the K300s offers 1000 ANSI lumens brightness, native 1080p resolution, and 4K decoding support. Its uniform brightness exceeds 90%, ensuring crisp and clear visuals that bring movies, games, and dynamic content to life like never before.

Great picture meets serious sound

Visuals are only half the story. Yaber hasn’t skimped on sound, either. The firm has teamed up with audio experts JBL, who has expertly tuned the K300s’ dual 15W built-in speakers to add some serious sound power cutting-edge project isn’t just loud, it’s super clear and balanced, too. Add Dolby support into the mix, and you can expect stunning cinema-quality sound at home. And with a 624.7cc sound chamber alongside 50Hz deep bass, explosions will rumble and dialogue will stay crisp, adding to that all-important immersive feel.

What’s more, the K300s’ speakers tilt upward 16 degrees, so listeners experience sound at its best, directed right to their ears and away from potential obstructions.

Simple, smart, stylish

Yaber promises that its all-new K300s projector will be refreshingly easy to use. You don’t need to be a tech wizard to set it up - its automatic focus and a quick-start system means you’ll be good to go in minutes. And since it’s loaded with Netflix and other apps, you can dive straight into streaming without plugging in extra gadgets.

At under 24cm wide, the projector is surprisingly compact, too. It’s modern, low-key and is bound to fit in with just about any interior - what ever your style. There’s even a feature that protects your eyes during long viewing sessions, which is a nice touch for families or anyone who loves a good movie marathon or series binge.

The K300s has made a strong debut at CES this year, and while we’ve not had a chance to get our hands on it just yet, its impressive line up of features is bound to appeal to anyone wanting that big-screen experience without the hassle. Whether you’re upgrading your living room setup or creating a mini home theater, it ticks a lot of boxes and is, without doubt, shaping up to be a solid option for home entertainment fans.

The Yaber K300s will be priced at $999.99 when it launches in the US. It will also be available for purchase in Japan, Europe and Taiwan starting on Jan 6 via the Yaber official website, rolling out to retail stores soon after.
