Following XXXTentacion’s death in Florida during an alleged robbery, the rapper’s ex-girlfriend Geneva Ayala’s GoFundMe page has been flooded with donations to cover her medical bills.
Ayala, who accused the rapper of domestic abuse, originally set up the crowdfunding page in October 2016 to raise money to cover the cost of injuries allegedly inflicted by the rapper.
Since the rapper was shot and killed a day ago in Deerfield Beach, Florida, Ayala has received more than $6,000 in donations - bringing total donations to $31,630 and surpassing her goal of $25,000.
On her GoFundMe page, Ayala posted a photo of her bloodied and bruised eye and wrote: “There are two fractures in my left eye socket due to an aggressive hit, along with nose and jaw fractures.
“Since these bones are fractured, they’re piercing into the back of my eyeball causing damage to an optical nerve and my eye itself.
“The left side of my face has lost some sensation, I cannot feel my upper lip on the left side, and same for my upper teeth on the left side.”
Ayala also revealed that her vision was diminishing “as the days go by” and it is crucial she receive surgery otherwise “my eyeball will die and the nerve connecting my lip/cheek and teeth will eventually die as well.”
Concluding her plea, Ayala wrote that she’d appreciate anything as “this is a very strenuous obstacle that has been put into my hands.”
Ayala also attached doctor’s summaries of her serious injuries, which she claimed were at the hands of XXXTentacion.
The extensive details of the abusive relationship between the controversial rapper and his ex-girlfriend were detailed in her court testimony, in which she claimed XXXTentacion, whose real name is Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy, abused her on multiple occasions.
XXXTentacion was charged with aggravated battery of a pregnant woman, domestic battery by strangulation, false imprisonment, and witness tampering.
At the time of his death, the rapper was awaiting trial for the domestic violence charges, which he’d plead not guilty to, and faced significant jail time.
