A splendid occurrence at Houston Roughnecks and Arlington Renegards practice on Wednesday.
Corey Borner, who suffered a spinal cord injury and was paralyzed during a football game at DeSoto (Tx) High School in 2009, visited the undefeated XFL teams.
The players from the Roughnecks were thrilled to see Borner and rushed over to welcome him at practice.
Corey is such an amazing person— honored he chose to come to our practice. https://t.co/i7kcvZDrpE

𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗗 𝗔 𝗪𝗔𝗬.
Corey believes God has a plan for everyone but for him, a specific assignment. After Corey’s injury he found his purpose in life that led him to be a motivational speaker.
It was such a blessing having @LILCOREY_TRILL at our practice 🙏🏽 pic.twitter.com/nAEEahKBzt
