Xbox Game Pass new games for August include Cooking Simulator and Ghost Recon

Every month, Microsoft likes to remind us that life isn’t all bad with more free(ish) stuff on Xbox Game Pass.

Nine more titles are arriving on Game Pass over the next few weeks. Remember, you’ll need an active subscription to scoop everything up. It’s worth it, given there are fantastic games like TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge and almost every Yakuza title added to the service constantly.

Xbox Game Pass games for August 2022

We’ll list what is coming out soon below, along with the corresponding release date and platform details. All information comes directly from Xbox Wire.

Aug. 2

Aug. 4

  • Shenzhen I/O (PC)
  • Turbo Gold Racing (cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S)

Aug. 9

  • Two Point Campus (cloud, console, and PC)

Aug. 11

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate perks for August 2022 include:

  • Fall Guys: Coconut Milk Costume (Aug. 2)
  • Skate 3: Upgrade Bundle (Aug. 11)
  • The Elder Scrolls Online: Noweyr Pack (Aug. 16)

Finally, several games are leaving Game Pass on Aug. 15, 2022. Yeah, bidding farewell is never fun. Don’t forget that it doesn’t have to be forever, as there’s a membership discount of up to 20 percent for those that would like to keep the games permanently.

  • Boyfriend Dungeon (cloud, console, and PC)
  • Curse of the Dead Gods (cloud, console, and PC)
  • Library of Ruina (cloud, console, and PC)
  • Starmancer (Game Preview) (PC)
  • Train Sim World 2 (Cloud, Console, and PC)

That does it for now. There’ll likely be more titles that we don’t know about yet coming to Game Pass soon enough.
