Microsoft have announced the first batch of free games for game pass subscribers this month. A Indie horror game set in WW1, a adventure puzzle game and a tongue in cheek simulator make up the first few titles available with more set to be announced.
Xbox Game Pass is a subscription service, that allows users of the Microsoft consoles to play a select number of games for free every month. Cost for the service starts at £10.99 a month providing players with complete access to Xbox's extensive list of games which players can download and play with no extra or hidden fees.

Microsoft announces a batch of free games twice a month with the first made public at the end of the month prior and the second set of games announced at the end of the current month. June's list of free games have already been announced and they include games such as Hypnospace Outlaw and – perhaps the best game title of 2023 – Slayers X: Terminal Aftermath: Vengance of the Slayer from developer No More Robots.
The Mirror reports that also included is the highly anticipated new entry into the indie horror series – and YouTube reaction video goldmine – Amnesia. The new game titled Amnesia: The Bunker takes place in – you guessed it – an underground bunker. Set during World War 1, Amnesia: The Bunker features a semi-open world and takes inspiration from classic immersive sim titles like System Shock and Thief and seems to be the most interesting the series has been since the original title launched back in 2010.
Currently only the first batch of Xbox Game Pass June 2023 titles has been revealed, but perhaps we mind find out what's still to come during this weeks Xbox and Starfield Showcase.

The first batch of free games included in the Xbox Game Pass June 2023 free games line-up has been confirmed, and there will be another batch announced in the middle of the month which will take us up to the end of the month. The first batch is as follows:

Leaving Xbox Game Pass June 2023
Microsoft has confirmed the first batch of games leaving Xbox Game Pass in June 2023, this batch will leave the service on Thursday, June 15.

You can pick these titles up at a discount before they leave the service later this month if you're an Xbox Game Pass subscriber.
