Microsoft just revealed not one, not two, but three free titles for Xbox players to sink their teeth into this weekend.
Outcast – Second Contact, and Lawn Mowing Simulator will be available for free play until Sunday, October 9, at 11.50pm PDT (Monday, October 10, 6.50am GMT), while Fallout 76 will be free until Tuesday, October 11 at 8.50am PDT (4pm GMT).
To play the games, you must be an Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate member. This is the first time in a few weeks that gamers can access three games at once for free as part of Free Play Days.
Should you like the games, Microsoft is also offering some serious discounts on in-game merch and the games themselves until the end of the promotional period.
Fallout 76 will be 75 per cent off at $9.99 (around £9), while Outcast – Second Contact will go for just $2.99 (£2.70). And should you feel like building a lawn-mowing business, Lawn Mowing Simulator will retail for $10.99 (around £10).
The great news is that any achievements earned will be valid even after the free period, as well as any improvements made to your Gamerscore.
Find and install the games on each of the individual game-details pages on Xbox.com. Clicking through will send you to the Microsoft store, where you must be signed in to see the option to install with your Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership.
To download on your console, click on the Subscriptions tab in the Xbox Store and enter the Gold member area to locate the Free Play Days collection on your Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
