Xbox Elite Series 2 controllers red and blue: release date and where to pre-order

Xbox has just announced its new red and blue Xbox Elite Series 2 controllers and here's everything we know about them including where to pre-order.

For those who like to express themselves while gaming and are bored of the standard, black, white and camo (urgh) options, you'll be glad to know that Xbox has finally announced brand new colourways for the Xbox Elite Series 2 controllers. In a recent announcement, Xbox confirmed that the new colours are now available for pre-order and these shiny new Xbox Elite Series 2 controllers will be released on April 11, 2023.

The colours are going to be Vibrant Red and Vibrant Blue which recolour the main base of the controller and leave the bottom grips black in the same fashion as the White Elite controller. Also, just as with the White controller, these will be Xbox Elite Series 2 Core controllers meaning they retail at £124.99 / $139.99 / AU$199.95.

Core controllers come in cheaper than the original Xbox Elite controller as they don't include all of the extra accessories. However, you can buy them separately if you want the extra level of customisation. This comes in at £49.99 / $59.99 / AU$79.95 for the Complete Component Pack.
