X Factor star Tom Mann has paid tribute to his fiancee Danielle Hampson a year after he was left heartbroken by her sudden death. The mum-of-one was just 34 when she died on what would have been their wedding day. She left behind Tom and their baby son. Danielle did not suffer from any known health problems and her cause of death is unknown.
On Sunday, June 18, Tom - who found fame in the band Stereo Kicks - took to Instagram where he posted a stunning black and white image of a beaming Danielle holding Bowie and paid tribute to her exactly a year after her death. He said: "1 year ago, I put on my suit expecting to meet you at that town hall & tell you ‘I do’. I ended up wearing it in a hospital waiting room. 1 year ago, my biggest worry had been that unbearable heat. It was impossible to know the unbearable pain that was about to come. 1 year ago, I had woken up beside you for the last time.
"No answers to how or why, and no words to articulate any of these feelings. Nothing makes any sense & everything has changed. I don’t know why you couldn’t stay. Dan, Bowie will know everything that you were to everyone that knew you. He will know your love & light over your loss. I am so very grateful that someone as special as you chose me. Thank you for letting me love you."

After her death, Tom, now a songwriter for top artists, shared the news on social media and he wrote that he had lost the "love of his life" on what should have been the happiest day of their lives.
He said at the time that his fiancee was the "best thing to have ever happened" to him and that he would continue to wear his engagement ring as a "sign of [his] unconditional love" for her.
He vowed to raise their son as a single dad and hoped he would make her proud. The singer wrote: "I can’t believe I am writing these words but my darling Dani - my best friend, my everything and more, the love of my life - passed away in the early hours of Saturday morning, 18th June. On what was supposed to be the happiest day of our lives ended in irreversible heartbreak.
"I feel like I have cried an ocean. We never made it to the alter; or got to say our vows, or dance our first dance, but I know you know that you were my entire world and the best thing that has ever happened to me, Danielle. I will wear this ring that I was always supposed to wear as a sign of my unconditional love to you.” Read more here.
Tom auditioned for X Factor as a solo artist but was put in Stereo Kicks, which made it to the final of the ITV singing show in 2014. The group consisted of Jake Sims, Chris Leonard, Charlie Jones, Casey Johnson, Barclay Beales, Reece Bibby, and Tom.
