The X Factor's Tom Mann has revealed some touching words of advice his late fiancée Dani Hampson shared before her tragic death over the weekend.
Singer Tom, 34, announced the sad news of Dani's death at age 34 on Instagram on Monday evening.
Tom's wife-to-be, who he shares son Bowie with, passed away in the early hours of Saturday 18 June, which was the day the pair were due to say "I do".
In the announcement Tom, who competed in The X Factor as part of the group Stereo Kicks in 2014, said he had lost the "love of his life" on what should have been the happiest day of their lives.
As he posted a black and white image of his smiling fiancée holding their son, he wrote: "I can’t believe I am writing these words but my darling Dani – my best friend, my everything and more, the love of my life – passed away in the early hours of Saturday morning, 18th June."
Hours after announcing the sad news, Tom shared a quote Dani had previously posted on her Instagram account back in January 2019.
The poignant words, which Tom re-posted on his Instagram story, read: "Keeps the honest moments close to your heart. The ones that are the most human.
"When you laugh until your ribs ache with your friends, when you feel stars exploding inside of you from falling in love, when life breaks you open those tears of transformation pour like a river from your soul.
"Live is really quite simple. We get to experience this planet for a brief while. We get to learn how to love ourselves and one another for the strange, messy, and magical creatures we are.
"What a gift it if to have a human life. If you look a little closer, there is always something to be grateful for. True gratitude isn't ignoring the darkness. It's participating with your whole heart in whatever moment life brings.
"It's leaning into the unfolding process and having the courage to not need all of the answers."
When Dani posted the quote, she wrote in the caption: "This is nice Happy Saturday".
It comes after Tom shared his "irreversible heartbreak" over the death of Dani, who passed away on the hours of Saturday morning.
Since sharing the heartbreaking news, Tom has been flooded with messages of condolence from celebrity friends and fans in the comments section of his announcement.
Lewis Capaldi wrote: "Love you brother," followed by a heart emoji.
While Mrs Hinch, AKA Sophie Hinchliffe, added: "Absolutely Heartbreaking sending all the love and strength I have to you and your beautiful little boy xx".
And Emma Bunton said: "Heartbroken for you A beautiful soul that will live on. Thinking of you all."
The Only Way Is Essex star Georgia Kousoulou penned: "I’m so sorry for you loss". [sic]
