X Factor star Luke Friend is unrecognisable from his time on the show after shaving off his signature long hairdo.
The singer-songwriter has been spotted having ditched his dreadlocks and opting for a shaggy mullet-esque cut instead.
Luke, 26, rose to fame on the 2013 series of the X Factor finishing in a respectable third place and bagging a duet with pop star Ellie Goulding in the final.
Viewers of the ITV show may recall back then, he was known for his hipster look, including a nose ring, moustache, tattoos and a head of dreadlocks.
Baby faced Luke was just 17 when he auditioned for The X Factor with the song ‘Stand By Me’.
After sailing through to bootcamp Luke was then mentored by Louis Walsh in the Boys category.
But now nearly a decade on from his stint on the ITV talent show, Luke looks dramatically different, having side stepped from his singing to start up an acting career on the side.
Luke now has more manageable shorter locks, which are often swept back with hair gel.
And although Luke didn't claim the top spot on the X Factor he finished a respectable third place behind Nicholas McDonald and Sam Bailey, who won the show that year.
Since finding stardom on the show in 2013, he has worked as a musician ever since, signing record deals with RCA and BMG.
He also toured the country in 2019 as St Jimmy in the musical version of Green Day's American Idiot album.
And his revamped look may be more in keeping with his characters as he has taken on roles performing on stage with Footloose the Musical.
Luke, who has an impressive 158,000 followers on Instagram, recently revealed he is also part of the Mamma Mia Party experience.
The X Factor runner-up- who also recently sported a bright blonde buzz cut - frequently flexes in tight-fitting shirts and loves the gym.
