The first glimpse of Lucy Spraggan's star-studded wedding has been revealed following her marriage to Emilia Smith.
The 32-year-old, who found fame on 2012’s The X Factor, was escorted down the aisle by her dear friend Simon Cowell before the ceremony at Saltmarshe Hall, East Yorkshire, last week.
In the initial photo from their special day, Spraggan looked chic in a white three-piece suit by King & Allen while Smith wore a stunning strapless white wedding gown.
The image captured the ecstatic couple amidst a shower of confetti as they exited the venue, with Cowell proudly observing in his trademark sunglasses.
Speaking to HELLO! about their wedding, the newlyweds shared that Cowell and their Boston Terrier, Steve, outfitted in a dapper black bow tie, played prominent roles in the celebration.
The Sober hitmaker also shared that she walked down the aisle to her own song dedicated to her now-wife, titled Other Sides of the Moon.
The song is a heartfelt homage to Smith, narrating the journey of their decade-long friendship evolving into a romantic relationship.
She shared: “Simon and I were standing outside the door and my song started playing. I was already crying, and Simon definitely had a tear in his eye.
“I was linking arms with him but then I realised I was holding on to his arm. He kept saying, ’You're OK, you're all right.’ Then when Emilia walked in with her dad I just sobbed.”
Discussing the moment she saw her now wife walk down the aisle, Smith said: “When I saw Lucy, it was everything I ever imagined and more.
“When I got to the top of the aisle Simon was looking at us both and he looked so proud, and so did my dad.”
Among the attendees were Cowell and his partner Lauren Silverman, along with actor Tom Turgoose, RuPaul's Drag Race star Bimini Bon-Boulash, and reality TV personality Adam Collard.
Spraggan told Fabulous Magazine in March that she had asked Cowell to give her away while she was staying with him and his fiancee.
The star was previously married to Georgina Gordon before she announced in November 2019 that they had split after three years of marriage.
