Ryan Reynolds admits he was taken aback by Celtic keeper Joe Hart sparring with his Wrexham hero Ben Foster in a striking challenge.
The pair of English stoppers were showcased in Foster's popular YouTube channel The Cycling GK, with Celtic fans being particularly surprised to see experienced Hart donning the Hoops as they went toe-to-toe in an attacking sense at Lennoxtown. The former teammates both hit stunners from inside and outside the area to surprise many including the Hollywood A-Lister.
The Deadpool star brought Foster's career back from cold storage and now the 40-year-old will live long in the memory of their recent promotion success for his big penalty save against rivals Notts County in a crucial moment. He, alongside co-chairman Rob McElhenney, have invested in the town in a bid to climb the divisions of English football.
During the challenge the Hoops keeper took the lead 3-0 in various attacking drills before Foster eventually won 9-8, with both veterans even attempting audacious overhead kicks. The challenge prompted a response from Reynolds who believes Foster could slot in up front for the Town.
He posted: "Is it possible to have two new signings out of one person?"
Young Celtic keeper Josh Clarke was the man tasked with stopping a bicycle kick from Foster but was rooted to the spot as his effort nestled in to the top corner, much to the surprise of Hart.
