Wrexham co-owner Rob McElhenney trolls Arsenal and Man City with cheeky Twitter dig

Wrexham owner Rob McElhenney has taken to social media to poke fun at Premier League giants Arsenal and Manchester City.

The Gunners currently find themselves top of the pile after 25 games, five points ahead of second-placed City going into this weekend's action. However, neither Mikel Arteta nor Pep Guardiola's sides can boast the best points-per-game (PPG) average in England's top five tiers this term, with Wrexham leading that particular statistic.

The non-league outfit lead the way, amassing 2.47 PPG, with Arsenal in second, averaging 2.38 whilst Notts County, Burnley, Sheffield Wednesday and Man City make up the rest of the top six. Now, McElhenney has taken to Twitter to joke about the rankings, claiming that he doesn't know who any of the teams are other than Wrexham and Notts County.
