Aspiring superstars would do wise to check out WrestleQuest, an indie wrestling RPG that’s jumping off the top rope onto consoles and PC this summer.
WrestleQuest’s gist is this: you’re a young, budding wrestler hoping to become an all-timer. Thankfully, WWE legends like Macho Man Randy Savage and Jeff Jarrett are there to show you the ropes. The fine folks at Mega Cat Studios indeed came up with a bizarre (yet brilliant) premise with this one.
“WrestleQuest captures the spirit and passion of wrestling, through the lens of an unforgettable RPG experience,” James Deighan, Founder of Mega Cat Studios, said in a press release. “Many of the team at Mega Cat grew up watching wrestling and it holds an undeniable nostalgic place for us. This game is a celebration of that world, complete with special fully licensed appearances by some of our favorite wrestlers from the 80s, 90s and today.”

- Andre The Giant
- Jake “The Snake” Roberts
- Diamond Dallas Page
There’s more as well, though Mega Cat Studios isn’t sharing the details yet. We’ll find out when WrestleQuest releases this summer for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
