WrestleMania 41 results: John Cena wins record 17th world championship as Travis Scott helps beat Cody Rhodes

John Cena is the new Undisputed WWE champion! - (X | @WWE)

John Cena has beaten Cody Rhodes in the main event of WrestleMania 41 to become the new Undisputed WWE champion.

As a result, Cena is now a record 17-time world champion as he took advantage of Rhodes’ refusal to break the rules by low blowing the ‘American Nightmare’ and striking him in the head with the championship to earn a pinfall victory.

Travis Scott made his presence felt, costing Rhodes a win by pulling the official out of the ring. Though, the music artist was made to pay for his interference as he was hit by a Cross-Rhodes but ultimately, he played a huge role in Cena making history in Las Vegas.

Elsewhere, Becky Lynch made her return to action after nearly a year away, coming to the aid of Women’s Intercontinental champion Lyra Valkyria after Bayley was attacked backstage on WrestleMania 41 Saturday. The pair successfully dethroned Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez to become the brand new WWE Women's Tag Team champions.

Unlike in the opener on night one, IYO SKY kicked off WrestleMania 41 Sunday by retaining her Women’s World championship in a triple threat match against Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley.

A fun bout which Belair looked to have won after hitting Ripley with her KOD finishing move, but SKY hit a top rope moonsault to break up the pin attempt and get the 1-2-3 herself, ending Belair’s undefeated streak at WrestleMania in the process.

Bron Breakker wasn’t as lucky as his reign as Intercontinental champion is now over after Dominik Mysterio pinned his own Judgment Day brother Finn Balor to pick up the biggest win of his career to date.

Randy Orton’s open challenge was answered by TNA world champion, Joe Hendry but the Viper made light work of his mystery opponent, nailing an RKO out of nowhere for the win.

Meanwhile, Drew McIntyre beat Damian Priest in a physical Sin City street fight, whilst AJ Styles’ decision to ignore advice from Karrion Kross backfired as he was beaten by Logan Paul.
