The Miami Dolphins are ready to continue their preseason campaign, their first under new head coach Mike McDaniel, as they’re taking on the Las Vegas Raiders at Hard Rock Stadium on Saturday night.
For the matchup, the Dolphins have listed nine players as “Not Expected to Play,” including wide receiver Jaylen Waddle.
Joining Waddle on this list are cornerback Xavien Howard, fullbacks Alec Ingold and John Lovett, tight end Tanner Conner, offensive tackles Terron Armstead and Greg Little, linebacker Brennan Scarlett and safety Eric Rowe.
Some of these players, like Waddle, are nursing some injuries, while others just may not need the opportunities as much as those that are playing.
