The King's Coronation is around the corner, so why not celebrate with a home delivered afternoon tea for half price.
The sweet deal, which provides a mix of treats costs £68 from Britain Loves Baking, but royal fans can purchase a full afternoon tea on Wowcher for £36.
While many will be celebrating his Majesty over a pint at a street party, others may prefer to toast to the new King over a fancy cuppa. Plenty of restaurants offer a high-tea menu, but the experience usually comes with hefty price tags.
Now, you can have afternoon tea fit for a King at a bargain price, by ordering on the Wowcher website. Delivered right to your door, the pastry selection includes pork pies, fruit cake (the King's favourite), scones and homemade British berry compote.
All products are prepared in the Britain Loves Baking kitchen with "finest ingredients sourced from the British Isles". Orders also come with a reusable cake stand and two menu cards to make things extra fancy.
The full coronation menu includes:
- 2 Baked cheese' ham and onion chutney tar
- 2 Miniature pork Pie
- 2 Coronation pasty
- 4 Coronation jeweled fruit and plain scone selection
- 1 whipped Clotted Cream
- 1 Homemade British Berry Compote
- 4 HM the Kings cipher embossed shortbread crowns
- 2 Mini lemon & strawberry Victoria Sponges with Duchy Lemon Curd filling
- 2 Chocolate Biscuit Cake Clarence House Recipe with a twist of orange
- 2 Mini Fruit Cake Loaf the King's favorite cake,, we have just made it a little lighter for summer
- 4 Coronation raspberry and dark chocolate truffles coated with Ruby red chocolate and dusted with gold.
The full menu with included cake stands and menu cards costs £36 when ordered in Wowcher. Shoppers can pay £26 for the entire menu without the stand.
Wowcher's offer runs until May 31, but those who want their afternoon tea in time for the event next Saturday must order by 10am on May 3. Once delivered the box must be refrigerated immediately, so it's best that someone for its arrival.
